Potter, designer and author, Jonathan Adler is a man of style. After launching his first collection of impeccable ceramics at Barney’s in 1994, just a few years later, five to be exact, he expanded into home furnishings and opened his first boutique in Manhattan.
In his over 19 years in the business, Jonathan Adler has expanded to over 20 boutique stores, a global booming internet business and he’s wholesaled in over 1000 outlets worldwide including Nordstrom.
Jonathan has partnered up with Barnes and Noble, MAC Cosmetics, Godiva, Google and Sesame Street and in 2009 Jonathan partnered with (our fave) Barbie to design the “real” Malibu Dream House in celebration of Barbie’s 50th anniversary. With it’s Retro Glam meets Girl Chic interior, it’s no surprise that less than a year later Jonathan launched his first kids line, aka, JA Junior.
From crocheted stuffed animals, to fun fury rugs, tic tac toe wall sets to golden piggy banks it’s no wonder Tweens and under have JA on their bedroom wish list.
