Reconstructive surgery needed in coming weeks

(NEWSER– Malala Yousufzai, the 15-year-old Pakistani girl shot in the head by the Taliban, still needs reconstructive surgery on her skull in the coming weeks, but for now her doctors say she is healthy enough to be discharged and spend time with her family, reportsReuters. Malala left Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham yesterday, after successfully completing short-term leaves with her family at their temporary home in England.
