In the first Taken installment, a father chased and killed all the men who kidnapped his daughter. In Taken 2, the past sins of the father come back to haunt ex C.I.A. operative Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson).
The story follows with Bryan working to keep close to his daughter (Maggie Grace) and his ex-wife (Famke Janssen). And while he missteps by being an overprotective father, he means well. So when he invites both ladies to Istanbul for a much needed vacation, the terms "meaning well" and "protective" take on very physical terms.
Being hunted by the father and family of the men Mills killed while rescuing his daughter. He must now face off against anger and revenge and use his skills to get his family to safety, so he may hunt down the men who want to end his family tree for good.
My review is pretty simple. This movie is exactly what you think it is; providing you watched the first Taken. The location is different and story differs a little, but everything else is the same. This doesn't mean it's a terrible movie; it's just a fun action movie with a charismatic leading man that's on a mission.
