It’s tragic, but is anyone really surprised? A man who worked as the unofficial spokesman for the Heart Attack Grill has died…of a heart attack. John Alleman, 54, would visit the Las Vegas restaurant – home of the “most calorific burger” – on a daily basis and often stood outside for hours trying to convince others to eat there. “Patient John,” as he was known, soon became the restaurant’s mascot. He had his caricature on the Grill’s menu and his own clothing line for sale through the restaurant’s website. But his eating habits finally caught up to him. Alleman suffered a massive heart attack and passed away this week. Can’t say the name of the restaurant didn’t warn him!
