Being a pastor doesn’t automatically exclude you from having to leave a tip. But apparently this man of the cloth thought he was too high and mighty to add a gratuity to his bill. He scratched out the automatic gratuity of 18% on his $34.93 receipt, instead writing “I Give God 10% Why do you Get 18.” He also wrote a big fat “0” as a tip and made sure to add the word “pastor” above his signature. That doesn’t seem very Christ-like. And why is he only giving God 10%? For someone who’s supposedly dedicated his life to his faith, shouldn’t it be more?
