If you’re patting yourself on the back for not taking a sick day the last few months, don’t get too excited yet.

This week, U.S. Postal Service worker Deborah Ford will retire after 44 years of work. That’s all well and good, but the thing that makes Deborah such a superwoman is that she never took a sick day. Not once. Ever. In 44 years.

When asked how Ford managed to stay well enough to work all this time, she said she’d simply just “shake it off.”

And we know where she gets her work ethic from. Her 86-year-old father claimed to have never taken a sick day in 30 years – and can’t he can’t figure out what the big deal is either. Amazing. (GMA)
