SWIFT INKS PARTNERSHIP WITH DIET COKE
As if Taylor Swift doesn’t have enough on her plate, she now has something new in her glass: Diet Coke. On Monday, the singer shared a video with fans in which she announced a new partnership with Diet Coke in which she will be the crown jewel of the soda company’s Stay Extraordinary campaign, which celebrates the self-assured and motivated people who drink the soda daily. OCEAN, BROWN BRAWL
Singer Frank Ocean claims he “got jumped” by Chris Brown in the parking lot of a Hollywood recording studio late Sunday night. Ocean sent a tweet early Monday morning that read: “got jumped by Chris and a couple guys. Lol. I only wish Everest (Ocean’s dog) was there.” According to TMZ, the altercation occurred when Ocean and his “crew” tried to block Brown from leaving the studio. Ocean reportedly said, “This is my studio, this is my parking lot.” The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said, “The altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim.” In all, six people were reportedly involved in the fight.
KRIS JENNER TALK SHOW GETS TEST RUN
Kris Jenner has landed her own talk show. The daily one-hour show, Kris, will get a test run on Fox-owned stations this summer. “This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it’s definitely a dream come true!” said Jenner in a statement. “I can’t wait for this new adventure to begin.”
ANDERSON STRUGGLING ON SPLASH
Comedian Louie Anderson is not having the easiest time on ABC’s new reality show Splash. According to TMZ, Anderson was practicing for the diving competition on Wednesday when he sank to the bottom of the pool out of exhaustion. Anderson tried to pull himself up the pool ladder, but kept falling back into the water. Diver Greg Louganis and fellow competitor Ndamukong Suh of the Detroit Lions came to Anderson’s rescue and pulled him out, leaving the funnyman at the side of the pool coughing. But this minor setback isn’t deterring Anderson. His rep says he’s “feeling great” and “loving the challenge.” Splash premieres Tuesday, March 19th.
