A new restaurant in Tokyo is taking its commitment to organic food to the next level by featuring a special ingredient on the menu ... dirt! And it’s not dirt cheap. Some menu items at the eatery Ne Quittez Pas are going for $110.

Selections include an appetizer of potato starch and dirt soup; a salad with dirt dressing; an aspic [meat stock jelly] made with clams and topped with a layer of sediment; and a dirt risotto with sautéed sea bass and burdock root. Desserts include a dirt ice cream and a dirt gratin. Folks can wash it all down with a dirt mint tea. (Fit Perez)
