Justin Bieber has reportedly set his sights on Neverland Ranch, the former estate of Michael Jackson.
According to "Sunday People," the 19-year-old pop star recently sent some of his people out to the California mansion and is thinking about buying it for himself. A source tells the tabloid Bieber's team "genuinely fear for him" and think that relocating to a home a few hours from central Los Angeles will help keep him out of trouble.
Apparently his team also believes it will also put more of a distance between him and the paparazzi.
The source says since Neverland is for sale and Bieber considers Michael "his idol," moving to the ranch is "a no-brainer" for him.
Justin is currently based in Calabasas, where he's found himself in legal trouble with some of his neighbors who have complained about his speeding in the family neighborhood.
Bieber isn't the first star to express interest in buying up Neverland Ranch. Lady Gaga was reportedly interested as well, but only as an investment to secure the future of Michael's three children.
