The pop star hinted to fans on Twitter that he would be hosting the sketch comedy show

(WENN) - Justin Bieber is preparing to put his comedy skills to the test by stepping up to host a forthcoming episode of Saturday Night Live.
The singer teased fans about his plans for 2013 on Twitter and, in a post on Monday, he revealed he's set to follow in the footsteps of fellow singers-turned-actors Justin Timberlake and Adam Levine, who will host the popular weekly sketch show on January 26th.
The TV job won't be Bieber's first time on the small screen - he previously tried his hand at acting for two episodes of popular drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2010 and 2011. He has also appeared in past SNL sketches.
