Walmart Throwing Holiday Parties This Season

Although it may still seem too soon for some people, now that Halloween's over the focus is going to shift to the holiday season, and retailers are going to be pulling out all the stops to get you in their doors and spending money. Well, Walmart is one of those stores trying to attract customers away from shopping at Amazon and they plan to do that by throwing more than 20,000 holiday parties in their Supercenters, and, believe it or not, those parties are set to start this weekend.

So what should shoppers expect at these parties? Well, they’ll have the opportunity to take selfies with Santa, and each store will be filled with holiday helpers that will assist customers in finding what they need, aiding in customer pickup of online orders, getting them to the shortest check out line and more.

The first parties are scheduled for this Saturday, where catalog will be handed out, along with stickers for kids to mark off what they want their parents to get for them this year. Future parties will center around holiday entertaining and the most popular presents of the season, with about 165,000 demonstrations expected to take place in store during the holiday season.
